KRFC Live at Lunch 3-25-13
Me and Bradley drove up to Fort Collins to perform live on KRFC 88.9 FM. We were interviewed and played 7 songs in the studio to promote the upcoming release. Sure was fun and sure are nice folks at KRFC. I love Fort Collins, such a cool town! Our old friend Danielle stopped in to see us too, what a great surprise to see old friends unexpectedly. We then stopped off at New Belgium Brewery Company and visited Bradley's brother, Brandon. Nothing like fresh New Belgium brews directly from the source! Sun was shinin', super fantastic day. Thank you to Bradley and Brandon and those who tuned in on their radios or online. Here is our set: https://archive.org/details/01LALThisRoadNeverEnds
Paris on the Platte 3-22-13
Wonderful wine, wonderful time at Paris on the Platte. Bradley and I played acoustic and were blessed to have some special guests join us, Andy Palmer and Seth & Josh Larson. I promptly put them on the spot and made them sing a few tunes with my guitar. :) So grateful to our all our friends who came out on this snowy, blizzard of a night!
Chapel at Red Rocks 3-24-13
I had the honor of performing with a good friend and an amazing artist, Jon Wirtz, on Palm Sunday at the Chapel at Red Rocks (non denominational). He'd given me a call a few days before and invited me to join the band he'd put together for the day. Sarah Morris sang beautifully, Brian played upright bass and we had a fantastic drummer, regrettably I can't recall his name. :( Sadie, our furry, four legged mascot slept on the cables by our feet as we played, which enriched the mood significantly. :) Good ol' Dave Avery ran the sound. Truly a beautiful morning overlooking Red Rocks. You can see more of the church here: www.chapelatredrocks.com Kristy, Jodi and Emmie came along and we all had a blast. We jammed and played some Keb Mo and my favorite Michael Jackson song, Man in the Mirror, and everyone danced and sang. Man it was sweet!
