Ryan's Full Bio:
Born and raised on a ranch outside Missoula, Montana, Ryan's first audience were mountains, rivers and cattle. When he was old enough to play electric guitar the cattle spooked and ran and the mountains seemed ambivalent so Ryan headed towards the bright lights.

Today, Ryan is a respected name in the Colorado music scene.  For the last 10 years he's cut his teeth as lead guitarist for award winning Colorado bands and singer/songwriters. Doing so lead him to being direct support opening for such diverse acts as Joan Jett and the Blackhearts, George Clinton and Parliament Funkadelic, The Fray and The Flobots.

Playing to full houses at venues like Red Rocks, Milwaukee's Summerfest, The Fillmore Auditorium, L.A.'s legendary Roxy Theater, and San Diego's Belly Up taught Ryan at a young age the caliber of performance needed to succeed on the road.

In Colorado, his dedication as band leader lead him to winning a Westword Music Showcase Award (division of Village Voice) and 5 total nominations as well as acclaim in countless articles, press and spins in major media and radio across the Midwest. Ryan released his first solo album as a singer/songwriter, The Ambivalent Justice Of..., in April of 2011, later that year his single "Thank You" featuring friend and former band-mate Aubrey Collins climbed high on the European country charts via a spot on an international compilation and eventually peaked highest in Italy at number 7.

A Lick and a Promise, his sophomore album released April 5, 2013, was recorded in Nashville at the studio of Troy Lucketta of Tesla with producers and session players who have recorded and toured with both Taylor Swift and Brad Paisley. Up From The North, also recorded in Nashville was released on December 6, 2014.

Ryan continues to gain new fans, friends and praise as he performs at festivals and venues across the Midwest. Up From The North is stated to be his best work to date and the perfect next step as a rising songwriter seeking to find the sound that will define him. These days the cattle don't run, they moo in harmony and buck in circles.
