Fruita Fat Tire Festival 4-26-13

Wonderful wonderful time with good people.   ..and the weather was perfect!! I love driving over the Rockies in the spring!  Thank you Fruita and Jeff and Troy for a really fantastic time!! After the show at a local pub Bradley, Vic and Haley got the entire bar cheering and dancing when each took a turn on the karaoke stage, hah, it was awesome!!

Fuita Fat Tire Festival and Root 40

Two great events this Friday and Saturday, 4-26 and 4-27-13.  I'm honored to be headlining both events; both are outside and both are gonna be a lot of fun!  ...and hey I made the front page of the Source :)

Tooey's Off Colfax - Root 40 4-24-13

Tooey's is one of my favorite bars on Colfax so when I was asked to do a set there for Root 40 it was a sure thing. http://www.root40.com/ is an awesome event, and a food drive and I love helping out anyway I can.  Our set was really a lot of fun, myself and Haley Rydell kicked it off and then I asked my buddy Chris LaPlante from P-Nuckle to join us and Gus Hoffman, an old friend and great trombone player. Later Ali from the Blackouts sang with us too.  Good times!!!

PS - new local Denver band "Birch Street" really got my attention.  These dudes really threw down!! I'll be keeping my eye out for them, ..kick ass set guys!!

3 Kings Tavern w/ Joe Buck 4-23-13

Man what a treat and a great show. Joe is a cool guy and an amazing performer. He's got a resume a mile long and toured with Hank III for years, that's when I first saw him.  I twisted his arm and he joined us for a jam!!  During his set, he played a couple acoustic right on the floor, sure was sweet.  His singing voice is one of the coolest sounding instruments I've heard.  Thank you Joe!!  ..and Kristy and Sami for the pics!

I'm really looking forward to this. When Hank III first started touring I never missed a Denver show. I saw him 6 Denver shows in a row.  He often had a different band each tour but I'll never forget Joe Buck on the bass, he was totally from another planet.  I'm happy to be opening for him at 3 Kings Tavern! His solo stuff is just bad ass, I really invite you all to listen to this hellbilly rocker!

The Bar Car, 4/20/13

Super happy to be able to perform for good friends this Saturday 4/20!  Denver Deep Dish which is located in the coolest Denver bar ever, The Bar Car, is having their anniversary party and we're gonna lay it down!  Jeremy runs the Bar Car and we've been friends for a long time and I'm happy to coincide this fun event with him at the Bar Car.  Let the celebrations begin!!

Eagle Grill 4-13-13

Say what you will about this place, we love it.  It's a great bunch of friendly off-the-wall people and we all enjoy each other, guess that means we're the same. :)   One of the things that makes it fun is our Longmont friends that come to hang with us.  Love ya, cheers til next time!!

I have so many people to thank for this night it's making my head spin!
